You should be able to remove the servo by hand without using any tools or prying on the case. You will probably have to turn the servo cover by hand as you are pulling. With pliers, pull on one of the cut ends of the blue "O" ring. but all in all when installed into my 4L60E equipped Silverado my 1-2 and 2-3 shifts have firmed up A LOT and runs the revs out muuuuch longer. Using a dental pick tool get under the blue "O" ring and stretch it out Servo was delivered promptly install was a P.I.T.A.
